partypoker has announced a new tournament series for February 2021 — MILLIONS Online. Satellites will start on November 22 from as little as 1 cent. Also, GVC Holdings, which owns the room, announced a rebranding and major changes in its operation worldwide.
MILLIONS Online will become a tournament series
Launched in 2018, the MILLIONS Online brand became the world's largest tournament in online poker history, although last year the event didn't have the best results and in 2020 it won't be played. Considering that only two starting flights are planned, MILLIONS Online won't be chasing a new title as the world's largest tournament.

From November 22, 2020, qualifying step tournaments will start:
- Centroll for 1 cent with 10 tickets guaranteed for $5.5 Phase 1.
- $5.5 Phase 1 with 18 levels of 3 minutes.
- $55 Phase 2 with 22 levels of 5 minutes.
- Final Phase: Sundays with ten $5,300 tickets guaranteed.
partypoker plans to award over 100 entries for the MILLIONS Online Main Event in satellites.
GVC Holdings to be renamed Entain
GVC Holdings, the parent company of partypoker, will be rebranded to Entain Plc from December 2020. As stated in the press release, this is done to 'reflect the Group's ambition to be the world-leader in sports betting and gaming entertainment.'

On December 19th, 2020, Phil Galfond’s Run It Once Poker and Dan Smith’s Double Up Drive will host a 27-player charity tournament. Eighteen of them will be invited pro players, and nine more will be selected from those who made donations before December 16th.
What is Double Up Drive?
Double Up Drive is a charitable foundation created at the end of 2019 by the famous American pro player Dan Smith. During his work, he has already collected more than $16 million in aid, which has been donated to more than a dozen organizations involved in helping people in need worldwide, scientific research in the field of security, and the creation of medicines.
Smith has attracted the poker community more than once to raise funds, and this time will knock that door again.
Charity tournament “Double Up for Charity” will be played on December 19th, 2020, at 21:00 at the Run It Once Poker room.
Who will play in the tournament?
A total of 27 people will take part in the event. Eighteen places have already been booked for famous poker players, including:

- Daniel Dvoress
- Farah Galfond
Nine more tournament participants will be selected from those who donated to doubleupdrive.com.
The top 5 donors will get a ticket for “Double Up for Charity,” and 4 entries will be drawn among all those who sent at least $1 donations until December 15th.
